What A Glorious Week for a Baptism!!!(:

Dear Family and Friends,

So, first of all, I am so so so sorry that I have been so horrible the last month or so with sending my big e-mail to everyone! The last few weeks have been so crazy and we don't get lots of time to e-mail, but know that I still love all of you(:

Tuesday was S.'s baptism!!! It was so amazing and Sister Parkinson and I were so excited for him! S. didn't stop smiling that whole day, and it was so amazing to be able to see him receive that initial saving ordinance that we all need to be able to return to live with our Father in Heaven once more. I don't know if all of you know this, but we had only been teaching S. for three weeks when he got baptized! We hadn't even taught him at all when we asked him if he wanted to be baptized. Heavenly Father just prompted us to invite him, so we did, and he accepted. God just blessed us so much with this miracle baptism and I am so grateful I was even able to be a part of it!

I was only a lot excited for S.'s baptism haha

Wednesday we had a conference call District Meeting. It was interesting haha it was hard to hear everyone, but it was good. I got to go on an exchange with our District Leader, Sister Kunz, and we came down here to Oliver. We street contacted and that was awesome. We also got to do some service for a less-active in our ward. We cleaned for her and she fed us this awesome dinner that consisted of ribs, salad, squash, and noodles. It was so good!!!

Thursday was Halloween so we had to be in our apartment by 5 o'clock so we didn't get to see any crazies. We did get to go over to the Bender's for dinner though and it was super good. We made mini pizzas. I miss making mini pizzas from home!!

I was a doll "missionary edition" for Halloween lol #superlame

A cute little candy shop in Oliver.  They made minion pumpkins for Halloween.
Friday we got to do a lot of service! We were able to rake leaves for this random person. They were super nice and gave us some chocolate for doing it haha Sister Parkinson had never raked leaves before so I kind of got to teach her how. It was pretty great, but our backs were really sore afterwards. We feel really old haha. We also got fed that night by a family in our branch, the N.s. They are so wonderful and we had lettuce wraps! It was delicious! They have 2 little girls that are so adorable and it really made me miss all my little cousins back at home!!
 Raking leaves! lol we didn't really rake the whole orchard. i just thought it'd be funny(;
Saturday Sister Parkinson and I had some mormon.org time for about an hour. Mormon.org is such a powerful tool and I hope all of you make one by Christmas! People that have questions or misconceptions about the church are able to learn so much from that website! It is great. We also had Stake Conference that night and it was broadcast at our chapel. It was awesome!!

Sunday we had Stake Conference in Vernon (about 3 hours away). So we got to drive there. It was a beautiful drive and Stake Conference was awesome! It was all about missionary work and President and Sister Tilleman both spoke as well. It was awesome(:

Monday (yesterday) was a great P-Day. Sis. P. taught me how to make homemade bread, so I'm a pro at that now, and we wrapped presents for our family's Christmas packages(: It was super awesome!
Making Bread.  I am a pro now.

I hope you all have a super wonderful week! I love you all so much! The church is true!

Love, Sister Brittany Larsen(:
